My real name is Kyle. I am 32 years old. I work as a Tier 3 IT guy for an Oil and Gas holding company in Houston, TX and surrounding areas. Married for working on 4 years. Have known my wife for much longer. No kids. I enjoy watching sports, mostly soccer. When I am not playing gmaes or working on personal IT projects I tend to spend time at the gun range, or hanging out with friends and family.

I have been gaming with the same group of people for about 10-12 years. First online game was Soldier of Fortune II. Original call sign was Odin, and since some of my friends from back in the day also joined NNG you may hear me refered to as Odie, or Odin. Played competatively on TWL and other gaming ladders on a handful of games including SoF2, Several of the Battlefield series, Several of the CoD series, and even CS:Source. Raided in WoW off and on for several years. I also play just about anything, from FPS to RTS to RPG to MMO.

I was gaming before I really got into IT. I also like the old school SNL commercials. i.e. Colonblow, Happy Fun Ball, Swill.

 

Real name is Christian, I live in Parkesburg, PA (I hail originally from VA however.) I am 21 as of the ides of February. Happily married
to my wife for about a year and a half now.



Graduated high school with the intention to go into the Navy like my father. However life had different plans, and I got married to my beautiful wife Laura (her and I above) a year later. I am now currently in school full time for IT and Game Development, after receiving my associates, will be heading to a 4 year college (Drexel University) for Computer Engineering and will hopefully (in time) begin to specialize in virtual gaming.

Being the game fanatic that I am, I have been playing games since I was practically a fetus (I believe the first game for me was tetris at 4 months old.) Favorite game would have to be Star Ocean: Till the End of Time by Square Enix.

 

My intro post in this thread got eaten by The Other Forum. That's okay, though, I think it was kind of bitter. I finally got a job today, so I'm feeling much better about life.

Hi. I'm Nano. I'm 23, live in eastern Canada, and I have a bachelors in computer science. I liked the mathy theoretical bits the best, but I like programming too. I taught myself a bit of web design, and I'm pretty interested in studying ways to improve user experience, like SEO and accessibility for screen readers. My fiance Hungry_Myst (he hangs out in the Minecraft forum) is doing his masters in computer engineering. He likes working with both vintage and bleeding-edge hardware, embedded systems, and Android devices.

Sometimes I play video games. I like a bunch of different stuff. I usually don't only stick to one thing at a time. Right now I'm playing Guild Wars 2 and Minecraft, in addition to PS2. Also playing assorted other titles when the mood hits. Compared to most other gamers, I haven't been gaming for very long. My first real gaming experience was City of Heroes (RIP) late in high school, and my first FPS was TF2. I like playing with friends (Hi, Weevils!), so I don't play many singleplayer games. But as long as there's co-op, I like something in almost every genre.

Outside of video games... I do assorted crafting stuff like scrapbooking and sewing. I'm trying to improve my sewing skills by making costumes. I fed The Other Forum a picture of my most recent costume - the cloak creature from Journey. I also read a lot of sci-fi, and I'm starting to get into fantasy and horror a little now, because of Lovecraft and Tolken. Myst and I are growing our board game collection, though we don't play them as often as we should.

Lastly, while there's no plans for kids in my future, we do have mice, fish and bunnies. Apparently I only have one picture of all three bunnies together, and they're very purposefully not facing the camera, but here you go:
