What can HE Lightning do for you?

this is my main method of kills. [421 so far] all i have to say is: you are an artillery weapon. you do not charge in, you do not go close, you do not think like a tank. i sit behind you guys, behind the magriders, and i watch. i fire through tower windows, i fire at spawn building roofs, just behind destroyed turrets, and i fire a lot. don't be afraid to pop off a round or two inside any building or enclosed space you think somebody's hiding. use your NV and look for even tiny heads poking between cover. most of the time you will either soften infy up, or just kill them. look for Maxes being repped and snipe those first. use either IR smoke for a few more seconds to aim, or prox radar to alert you to that one HA trying to flank you.

but most of all, watch people's backs. i don't know how many LA's i've ganked before they could c4 a sundie, or snipers i've noticed and removed. i love my Lightning, and i can honestly say i feel very comfortable piloting as one. though the amount of sorry /tells i've sent is kinda high.

 

Radar and Thermal scope (you're a mean mid-range infantry killer during the night with that combo).

Oh, and make sure your driving skills are up to par. Lightnings take a while getting used to, but they're awesome machines when used correctly. Also, sometimes running them over is easier than shooting them.
