A couple of useful Carbine/SMG stats for hipfiring

    All LMGs (even the VX29 Polaris, EM1, and MSW-R; the "CQC" LMGs that have the Advanced laser sight) have very, very poor hipfire accuracy. Don't hipfire with them.

    Also, I almost always go for encounters where I can kill them in around a second. Shooting them from a distance and taking longer than that is not only a potential waste of ammo, but you're also alerting other enemies (which you haven't seen yet) of your presence. Instead, try to flank them. Just because you see an enemy doesn't mean you have to automatically try to take them down as soon as you see them.

    I try to keep my engagements at under 50 meters.

    Just figured out the flash suppressor's exact penalty

    Flash Suppressor
    • Increases cone of fire bloom per shot by 20% when aiming down the sight and when firing from the hip.
    For example...
    • (Solstice) Hipfire CoF Bloom per shot: 0.1
    • (Solstice + Flash Supressor) Hipfire CoF Bloom per shot: 0.12
    Also, your cone of fire bloom per shot when aiming down the sights is 50% of that when you fire from the hip. This doesn't apply to SMGs
